Friends of the Waterfront is back with a new installation in our Dogs of the Waterfront blog series. After being inspired by Humans of New York, we’re now featuring different dogs who are often found enjoying Louisville’s Waterfront Park.
Breed: German Shepherd & Pit Bull mix
Age: 10 months
Blaise is a sweet pit bull mixed with German Shepherd who loves to play outside all day long! She lives with her mom, Nicole, and human-brother in Louisville, KY.
How long have you been living in Lousiville?
I was born in this city! I’ve been living here with my mom and brother since they moved from Chicago!
What’s your favorite thing to do at Waterfront Park?
I love to run on the lawn at Waterfront Park and also say hello to all of the other dogs I meet there!
Where else do you like to go in Louisville?
I take a trip with mom to Seneca Park everyday and play in the grass! I also love to go to Broad Run Park and Cherokee Park whenever mom feels like taking me there, too! All of the parks in Louisville are so great!
What are some interesting facts about you?
My favorite part of playing at Seneca Park is chasing the frisbee that my family loves to throw! No matter how many times I bring it back, they still don’t want to hold on to it, but I’ll keep making sure they don’t lose it! I love to snuggle with my family, ride in the car, and eat the garbage although mom doesn’t love that I love that last thing. Swimming in the lake is great, too, but the bathtub is not fun!
