There’s never a lack of good excuses to eat out in Louisville. From new restaurants, to happy hour specials, to revisiting old favorites, there’s always somewhere delicious to be. And now Burger Week has come to town! In partnership with the Kentucky Beef Council, some local restaurants are offering up $5 burgers from July 24th-30th.
Each participating restaurant has taken their own unique spin on the classic hamburger as a way to highlight their business style. Louisville Burger Week hopes to help locals explore more places and experience the wide array of talent around town. The organization also created Burger Passports for customers to have stamped whenever they visit the restaurants during the week. Each participant who eats at at least three of the businesses will be eligible for the grand prize drawing. The prizes include a grill, grill kit, GoodWood beer (the official beer of Burger Week), a special edition Louisville Slugger bat, and more.
All this talk of burgers is making us hungry! Below, we rounded up a few of the restaurants we’re looking forward to visiting this week:
These burger pros are offering up a deal to the customers that might otherwise be looked over: vegetarians. It certainly can be hard to be a veggie eater during a meat-themed week, but Stout is offering up a delicious and creative alternative, the Bollywood veggie burger.
They’re not forgetting about the carnivores though. Also on the discounted menus is the SHU burger, made with 100% aged beef blend, and house-made roasted red bell pepper blend.
This new edition to the Louisville cocktail scene, is also stepping its food menu forward. Aptly named “The Burger” is made with Black Hawk Farms burger patty, house-made brioche bun, caramelized onion, pimento cheese slice, house-made B&B pickles.
Set is offering not one, not two, but three sliders for their Burger Week deal! These Slugger Sliders are made with angus beef, white cheddar cheese, spicy house pickles, caramelized onions, and 1000 island dressing.
Unlike any of the other businesses, Macaron Bar is offering the perfect dessert to close out your meal: Burger Macarons! These mini burger bites are also a great option for any participants unable to eat bread as all macarons are 100% gluten-free.
Other businesses participating in Louisville Burger Week include: Molly Malone’s, Drake’s, HopCat, Eight Up, The Hub and more!
